The Challenge
Web design agencies lose hours every week on manual cold outreach. The typical workflow involves switching between a lead scraper, a spreadsheet, a phone dialler, a separate CRM, and an email tool. There was no single platform designed specifically for how agencies prospect: finding local businesses without websites, calling them with a tailored pitch, and following up until they book. Leadie was built to replace that entire stack with one purpose-built tool.
The Research
We started by mapping the existing cold outreach workflow that most agencies follow. The average agency uses between four and six disconnected tools to go from lead discovery to booked meeting. Each handoff between tools introduces friction, data loss, and wasted time.
We audited the competitive landscape across general-purpose CRMs, dedicated diallers, and lead generation platforms. Tools like HubSpot and Close CRM are powerful but bloated for a solo operator or small agency running outbound calls. Dedicated diallers lack CRM functionality. Lead scrapers dump data into CSVs with no workflow attached.
The gap was clear: no product combined lead discovery, calling with scripts, transcription, and automated follow-up in a single flow designed for the agency use case.

The Approach
We designed Leadie around a single principle: one screen, one workflow. An agent should be able to discover a lead, call them, follow up, and book a meeting without ever leaving the platform.
The product architecture centres on a six-stage pipeline that moves leads from discovery through to booked meeting. Every action the agent takes (calling, emailing, noting) advances the lead through this pipeline automatically. Scripts were built as a first-class feature, not an afterthought. With 10 script styles across 17 niches, agents get 170 variations that auto-advance based on conversation flow.

The Design
The interface needed to feel fast and focused. Cold calling is high-energy, repetitive work. Every extra click is a friction point that slows an agent down and breaks their rhythm.
We designed the call screen as a single, dense view: the business details on the left, the auto-advancing script in the centre, and the live transcription feed on the right. The script highlights the current section and dims everything else, so the agent always knows where they are without reading ahead.
The dashboard uses a Kanban-style pipeline view that gives managers a bird's-eye view of every lead's status. Cards are colour-coded by pipeline stage and show the last action taken, so nothing falls through the cracks.

The Build
Leadie is a full-stack SvelteKit application running on Supabase for auth, database, and real-time subscriptions. Call transcription uses Deepgram's WebSocket API for sub-second latency. AI script suggestions are powered by Claude, processing the live transcript to surface relevant talking points and objection responses in real time.
Email sending and tracking runs through Resend, with custom open and click tracking via pixel and redirect URLs. The Google Places integration handles lead discovery with geocoded search, business category filtering, and automatic website detection.
The Result
Leadie launched as a fully functional SaaS product with integrated lead discovery, AI-powered calling, real-time transcription, automated email follow-up, and pipeline management. The platform serves web design agencies looking to replace their fragmented outreach stack with a single, purpose-built tool.
