Hi, I'm Sarah.

I design and build websites for small Australian businesses that want to stand out and actually get found.

I started Sonder Digital because I kept seeing talented business owners stuck with template websites that looked like everyone else's. I believe every business deserves something built from scratch, with real thought behind every design decision. No templates, no shortcuts, no cookie-cutter layouts.

HOW IT STARTED

I have a degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Design Computing from the University of Sydney. I taught myself to code because I wanted to build things that actually worked, not just things that looked good in a mockup.

Before Sonder, I spent years watching small businesses get sold on expensive template sites that all looked the same and didn't actually help them grow. The agencies charging premium prices were using the same drag-and-drop builders their clients could have used themselves. That didn't sit right with me.

So I started Sonder Digital to do it differently. Every site we build is coded from scratch. Every design decision is made for a reason. And every client gets the same level of care whether they're a one-person interior design studio or a property group managing fifty listings.

We're based in Da Nang, Vietnam, but we work exclusively with Australian businesses. The timezone overlap means I'm available during your working hours, and the location lets me keep overhead low and put more of your budget into the actual work.

I live in Da Nang, Vietnam, but every single one of my clients is in Australia. Yes, the Wi-Fi is excellent.

Many of my best design ideas come to me right before I fall asleep. I now keep a notebook on my bedside table. My sleep schedule has not improved.

I once rebuilt an entire site in 5 days because the client had a launch event they forgot to mention. We made it.

I'm obsessed with finding businesses that don't have websites yet and showing them what's possible. It's basically my hobby at this point.

I have recently become another obsessed pickleball player. I'm not sorry.
